 UMove Fitness Online Registration 

**THE ONLINE REGISTRATION PAGE WILL BE UNAVAILABLE OVERNIGHT FEB 3/4**
UMove Fitness is currently in the process of upgrading our payment gateway. As a result, the system will be unavailable overnight February 3/4. The systems should be fully functional as of 8:30 am on February 4. Until then, credit card purchases are unavailable. However, cash and check payments for registrations, passes and merchandise will still be accepted at the UMove Fitness office (3064 CCRB). Our apologizes for any inconvenience.

To Register:
  1. Click on the “Classes” tab at the top of the page to see a list of classes in each category.
  2. Select the class(es) you are interested in from the list. Click on a specific class for session information, including registration. Click on the icon next to the instructor’s name to learn more about the instructor.
  3. Click on the “Register” button to enroll in a class.
  4. If you are enrolling as a New User, please be sure the address you enter matches the billing address for your credit card, as this is a security feature for online purchases.
  5. If you are a Returning User and need to update your profile (change your address and/or contact information), click on the “My Profile” tab and proceed as directed.
  6. By completing your registration, you agree to adhere to all UMove Fitness policies as stated in the current brochure.
  7. Any registration involving discounts or promotions must be completed in person at the UMove Fitness office (3064 CCRB). Discounts and promotions cannot be applied after registrations are processed.
  8. You must have a valid UMID to enter RecSports facilities. Unless you are a currently enrolled student or RecSports member, you most likely DO NOT have a valid UMID, meaning you will need to purchase Limited User Pass or RecSports membership. Contact the UMove office for details.
  9. Registration for UMove Fitness classes is limited to participants 18 years of age and older.  
Winter 2010 Important Dates

March 10: Half-Off Promotion Begins

What's New
Kettlebell 2

Experienced with Kettlebells and want to take your fitness routine to the next level? Come try Kettlebell 2! This class will be a fun yet challenging all-around fitness workout that uses kettlbells combined with plyometrics, body weight and other strength exercises to get you lean in no time! We will build on prior knowledge so experience with Kettlebells recommended.



Latin Dance

This is an introductory course which gives a foundation of movement for students who have had little or no dance experience. In this course, students will learn the basics in Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Cha Cha and Cumbia. Emphasis will be on the development of partnering skills, lead and follow, the basic principles of timing, as well as basic foot work and variations of simple turn patterns. You don't need a partner to attend this class!



BollyFit

Do you dream of energizing fitness that's a spa experience you look forward to, not dreaded exercise? BollyFit™ is the Fitness through Dance™ sensation illuminating Michigan. BollyFit synthesizes the artistic elements of Indian classical, folk and Bollywood styles in a dynamic dance experience. A spiritual thread is woven in and participants awaken consciousness through dance. By the way, you work up a sweat and strengthen BollyMuscles! It's Fitness that's Fun! BollyFit attracts a spectrum of souls - from first time dancers to grandmothers who haven't danced in 30 years - who experience increased athleticism and emanate aliveness! Students have come to BollyFit's flagship Ann Arbor classes from as far as Battle Creek, Chicago and Canada. Namaste Healthy Yoga

Namaste Healthy: Yoga for the Injured Body is a yoga class for the recovering body. If you have suffered an injury in the past or present and still want to practice yoga, this class is for you. You will learn about the anatomy and physical benefits of each asana. The sequence of the postures is specifically created to benefit and educate the body. It is geared toward all levels of yogi and will be shaped to the enrolled participants' needs. If you have not recently suffered an injury but would still like to learn modifications and sequences that are healthy for your anatomy, feel free to come!



PIYO

PIYO is the seamless blend of Pilates and Yoga. Strengthen your core, improve your balance and increase your flexibility and endurance. Challenges your current fitness level, relaxes your mind and leaves you energized and refreshed. This workout gives you an incredible experience and helps you lose weight. Each workout is approximately 60 minutes and includes warm-up, workout, and cool down sections.
